Clive Waller
Clive Waller held a variety of management positions in sales and marketing for some twenty-five years with Scottish Amicable and Zurich Insurance. His roles included investment sales manager and sales director at Zurich Life and group director at ZIFA. He became managing partner of the Training Design Studio in 1999, writing and delivering training programmes
on taxation, pensions and investment. At the same time, he set up the specialised research-based consultancy, CWC Research with his wife, Monica.
Clive has an MBA from Wolsey Hall, Oxford and is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society.
He has been a regular speaker at industry conferences and writes on a variety of issues. He writes regular features for FT Business publications.
Monica Waller

Prior to starting a family, Monica had various roles with Scottish Amicable, at leading advisers, Gissings where she was in charge of administration, and stockbrokers W I Carr, where she was responsible for publishing the options newsletter.
Monica is responsible for IT, administration of the business and for the organisation of The-Investment-Net-Work and the UK Platform Awards.
Peter Le Beau - Associate
Peter Le Beau has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years and is one of the best known speakers and writers in the business. Peter's career has been largely spent in reassurance and he has extensive experience in business to business marketing and helping clients to think in original ways about their marketing approach. Peter's success in helping Swiss Re to develop its proposition in the UK has given him an enviable network of contacts throughout the marketplace. Peter believes that business should be fun without sacrificing professionalism and has a keen sense of humour which is very much in evidence in the advice he dispenses to clients.
Peter has worked or consulted in the US, South Africa, Asia and European life markets.

In June 2009, Peter was awarded the MBE for services to Insurance and Charity in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
Holly Mackay - Associate
Holly has been working with fund distribution platforms for over 10 years and her experience spans the Australian, UK and continental European markets. Holly is Managing Director of The Platforum which she founded in February 2007. The Platforum provides consultancy, research and events to the financial services sector.
Holly started her career in the Australian financial services industry where she developed and ran investment platforms at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers and Norwich Union. On returning to the UK in 2003, she worked as a specialist fund platform consultant to both providers and distributors before being recruited to Abbey in 2004 to head up their new wrap proposition. After the Santander acquisition of Abbey, Holly was appointed the UK Director of Allfunds Bank in June 2005 and launched the institutional platform in the UK in 2006.
Holly read French and Spanish at New College, Oxford University and holds a graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments from the Securities Institute of Australia. She has dual British and Australian citizenship.
Gillian Hepburn - Associate
Gillian has over 20 years’ experience within Financial Services and launched her own business in October 2011 to offer consultancy services to Financial Advisers, platform providers and asset managers.
Quality Platform Solutions offers a range of services including independent platform due diligence, implementation and integration with the client service proposition. Consultancy services are also offered to platform providers and asset managers in the development and marketing of their fund, or platform to advisers and customers.
Gillian spent a number of years working for Standard Life in a range of roles across servicing, sales and marketing. Her last role was as a Wrap Business Development Manager following a year working on the platform development and launch.
More recently she was Associate Director for an asset manager, responsible for distributing a new range of funds and DFM portfolios through a range of tax wrappers and platforms.
Gillian has an MA from Aberdeen University and an MBA from the Open Business School.
