Platform of the Year

Sponsored by Logica

This award is for the platform that the judges deem to have made the greatest advances or been the most innovative during the year, the platform that is, quite simply, Platform of the Year 2009.

Highly commended: Ascentric and Cofunds

Judges Comments

Ascentric continues to innovate. They have demonstrated significant success by offering different propositions to very different customers.

Cofunds have entered into a huge development programme. Most of this has yet to be delivered, so watch this space next year.

The judges were very aware that this year, we are in a different financial environment.  For many, the most important issue is security. Standard Life Wrap comes from a big, respected organisation with a highly recognised brand.

This year, they have listened to the market and acted on what they have heard: They offer a broad choice of asset classes and funds. In addition, they offer very attractive rates of cash.

They have re-priced; Moreover, they offer ‘in specie’ transfers from platform to platform and they offer great training to new users.

The Winner : Standard Life
